Formed in 1995 in the Koumassi district of Abidjan, the group originally consisted of three members: Hugues Patrick Ossohou (known as Pat Sako), Valéry Théa Doubo (Valéry), and Alexis Didier Goly (Shura). They gained prominence in 1997 with their debut album Éléphant d’Afrique, followed by the successful Série C in 1998. Over time, the group became a duo after Shura’s departure.
