We believe that every track has a story, and our mission is to make sure yours gets told.
we are always on the hunt for that “fresh energy” that makes us stop what we’re doing and just listen.
How to Get Our Attention
We get flooded with DMs and links every day, but we actually listen to everything that comes through our official channels. If you want to stand out, follow the Afrotonic Guide to a perfect submission:
- Quality is King: Before you hit send, make sure your mix is clean and your vocals are crisp. We love raw energy, but we also want to give our listeners a professional experience.
- Tell the Story: Don’t just send a link. Tell us who you are. Where did this song come from? Was it inspired by a late-night drive through Nairobi or a traditional rhythm from your hometown? We’re looking for the soul behind the sound.
- High-Res Visuals: Presentation matters! A great track with blurry cover art is a missed opportunity. Send us your high-resolution artwork and a couple of press photos that capture your vibe.
- Think Ahead: If your song drops this Friday, you’re already late. Try to get your music to us at least 14 to 21 days before the release date. This gives our editorial team time to actually listen and potentially slot you into our featured articles or playlists.
